The Pre-Seed Support Services Program helps innovative, high technology entrepreneurs develop companies in Connecticut. The CI team provides mentoring, coordination of services and limited funding for business assistance to prepare the tech company for future investments.

Eligible entrepreneurs and companies will work with a CI case manager who will help identify and fund appropriate support services such as:

Intellectual property reviews,
Technology reviews,
Business plan development and reviews
Market analysis
Market entry strategies

Complete CI telephone initial screening
Submit Pre-Seed application
Work with case manager to identify required services
Enter into agreement with CI
Work with case manager to obtain services

Proof of concept or pre-beta stage
Proprietary technology or expertise
Market potential of technology
Domain expertise
Potential for future CI investment
